What Do You Think of the New YouTube?

Just a couple days ago I was greeted with the new YouTube, to be honest I do not like it at all. My brother has a YouTube account as well, just without any videos, and his YouTube is the same as the old one along with all the guests. So what is the deal?

The new YouTube is very disorganized, the old layout was perfect. The description box underneath the video looks messy. If one is a YouTube partner their “banner” does not show above the username and subscribe button. The comment box is now at the top which is nice but, again, looks messy.

There is one really nice feature, the autoplay. Autoplay will automaticaly send you to a new video after you finish watching one. For example, if I am watching my new subscriptions it will automatically go to the next subscription video when I am done with the current; this feature is awesome! I currently find myself watching a subscription video then going home, then watching another, then going back home; the new feature is more convenient.

The new YouTube layout is mainly cons with the exception of one pro. The question is; why did they change it? When will everyone move over to the new layout? When are they going to publicly announce it?

    l didnt like it and cant see any sense because made it more complicated and stops you to follow playlist like you are going to spend allday on youtube

    yea, i didnt like the new layout either. I can see that they tried to make it more clean and streamlined, but its not working very well, i also didnt like how they removed the stars rating and replaced it with a like or dislike button, that rating style sucks =/

    sorry dude, the autoplay is a total mess, i could simply put a video in my playlist as well and not be linked to a site just because youtube wants to.

    it's simply a mess! how do they manage to get even worse? it seems like every youtube update is a step backwards!

    The new style speaks volumes that nobody in his or her right mind (or obvious lack of) should update a search engine while drunk or still in middle school. It is a damned shame that everyone has this shitty new style and no one can keep it on the old, uncomplicated style with some kind of customize button!

    The old Youtube layout was much better. The new one is hard to navigate and just plain ugly.

    I have little or or nothing good to say about the new layout. Every change is a bad one. The thumbs up/down system is stupid, and I feel downright rude “disliking” a video rather than giving a fair 1 – 5 rating. I also like having the favorites button be separate from the ratings button. The video responses are now lowered and not visible without clicking “see all” which sucks. The comments ratings and time posted are hidden until you hover on them, which is baffling. What is also baffling is how any of these changes can be determined as good changes unless youtube is purposely trying to alienate and chase off it's users.
